Irish Proverb 302 - Seanfhocail Ghaeilge 302

Is é seo Seanfhocal an Lae:

Today's Proverb is:

Is olc an ghaoth nach séideann maith do dhuine éigin.

Seo ciall an tseanfhocail:

The translation or meaning is:

It’s a bad wind that doesn’t blow good for someone.
(Someone always benefits from adversity).

An bhfuil a mhalairt de thuairim agat maidir le ciall an tseanfhocail seo, nó ar mhaith leat an t-aistriúchán s’agatsa a roinnt linn? Déan caint ar seo thíos.

We always used the older version of the translation when I was a child: It's an ill wind that blows nobody good.
