    Conditional Sentence Structure

Not sure who will have this question within their grasp...but I am just trying to verify something.

I have been going through the Duolingo course, and, in going through the second level on Conditional Verbs, noticed that a sentence such as "If I had money I would put it in the bank" is translated as "Dá mbeadh airgead agam chuirfinn é sa bhanc."

In that translation, the "If I had.." part is translated with the conditional verb "mbeadh" instead of the regular "bhí".  Is this correct, that in a conditional sentence the verbs in all parts of the sentence should agree?

Just want to make sure I am understanding this concept.

Yes. If one part of the sentance is in the modh coinniolach, the other part has to be as well.

In English, the construction sounds like, If I would have money, I would put it in the bank.
