Yes, I remember seeing this on afternoon RTE sometime 1970-1976. It was an episode of Tarzan.

I remember this well. I was watching the episode and suddenly realised that the character was speaking Irish. It was mainly a few grunted orders to his minions. My recollection is that the actor involved was Sean McCrory who had lived in Galway for many years amd had st one stage plies his trade in the Taibhair theatre in Galway

As I said above, it is Series/Season 1, episode 21 of the Tarzan TV series from 1967, entitled "The Golden Runaway."
