Just to clarify, that i think this is a really usefull set of lessons.

but in lesson 21 for how much it states cá mhéad.  i would have that thought this to be cé mhéad.

    go raibh míle maith agat.

I too have a classic Ipod. It took me a while to discover, as you mention Frankie, to click the centre 4 -5 times to get the text portion.

I'm looking forward to continueing my lessons.

Really good work Michelle...getting the text in there with the audio...brilliant!

Any timetable for Books 2 and 3?  Wonder if there is a market for my BC tapes I bought at An Ceathrú Póilí

    a few years ago.:)

    Niall -

Try 2 rapid clicks on the center button. Keep doing it until the vocabulary appears.

I tried the trial lesson one, loved it. could the bug be Tá sé fuar, rather than Tá sí Fuar.  Isn't aimsir, weather  feminine? An aimsir go maith.

I bought Buntús Cainte for my Mac, but I only hear the audio, no video appears. Is there any special format i should have used when downloading it?  I'm so looking forward to using it.

    Hello Niall,

Wanted to share the solution to my similar problem. I mistakenly thought that I could use the MP3 version of Buntus Cainte on my computer like the free trial. But Michelle clarified that it must be synced and used on the iPod or similar device. I now see the text and hear the audio on my iPod, by clicking the center button a bit till the text appears. Maybe there is a more expensive version for use on the computer to have interactive lessons like the trial versions.

I find that I can listen to as well as see the text on my computer while using the ITunes software. The ITunes software is a free download for your computer ...

Re: Just released - Buntús Cainte for iPod, iPhone and iPad!

Pretty neatly put together, and I'm impressed. However... Hopefully I'm missing something, but my question is:

Is there any way of knowing the content of each lesson other than going into each one? Could the titles not have given this as an indication, rather than just saying "Lesson 1" etc? Or could not a list be put up on this site somewhere? OK, I can go into each lesson and draw up my own list, but it would be kind of nice (and if you'll excuse me, obvious) to have the proper titles of each lesson displayed right there in my iPhone screen, rather than cart around a hard-copy list with me.

Like I said, I hope I've missed something!

Re: Just released - Buntús Cainte for iPod, iPhone and iPad!

    Greatwestroad,
Thanks for your query - I've put our lovely designer on the job of creating a lesson list for free download on the site ASAP.
The lesson list will take a while to build, as we're creating it along with a brief description of what's covered as part of our online course (have you seen the free lesson at http://talkirish.com/online_irish_course/ ?).
With hindsight, I do agree that it's obvious that we should have descriptive lesson titles in the MP3 course - but I have to say, while we were doing all the work to get the course digitised, proofed and ready for distribution, we missed that! There's always something Embarrassed
When we release Buntús Cainte parts 2 and 3 for MP3, I'll release an updated version of part 1, with descriptive lesson titles. Of course we'll send anyone who has already purchased Buntús Cainte Part 1 a free download for Part 1, so you can simply upgrade. However, this won't be available until early 2010.
Hope this is useful! Keep the suggestions and feedback coming - everything helps to shape the products we're working on at the moment, and helps us upgrade what we've already produced.

    Beir bua,
    Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

Any plans for an android version of the course? Not an apple fan. Would buy the course if it was available in android freindly version.

    Thanks
