This is a "turtleneck" in California!
I'm gonna throw out a question to all and hope that my ignorance isn't showing too much..... What part of this makes you assume that it is a male ? It looks like "It's good with a green jumper" in my head. Is the male "He" assumed or is there something that I am missing ?
Is mise le meas,
Doug
"Leis" means "With him" in Irish. In Irish, one says "Is good with him" to mean "He likes". So "Is maith leis a gheansaí glas" translates directly to "Is good with him his jumper green", which means "He likes his green jumper".
