    A Chairde I think there is a simple work around in Office (certainly MS Word) In MS Word 1. Click on Insert menu at top 2. Click on symbols 3. Check that normal txt font is selected from drop down menu 4. A grid of symbols should be on screen 5. Select á for example 6. Select keyboard shortcut 7. In box called ' enter keyboard shortcu t'

    Perhaps another idea is to pair up with someone who has more language experience and use Skype (tho remember that the dialect is important). I am an intermediate level learned and would to love to use Skype to practice basic conversational Irish (Ulster dialect).... If anyone is interested drop me a line!! Ken [this is a re-post]
