This site is for those interested in learning and studying the Irish language. We do not serve as a translation site, and many here would not feel qualified to give a translation.

I'm looking to get a tattoo in Irish. I want to use the phrase "unexpected warrior." Would "laoch gan choinne" be the correct translation? I don't know if there is a feminine/masculine distinction with the word laoch, but since I am a lass I thought I would ask that as well. Thank you! 🍀
